The Willow Festival
For 2016 The Willow Festival becomes three events across three counties and will re-assert it’s claim to being the world’s largest festival which exclusively showcases new, emerging, undiscovered and unsigned LIVE music bands and solo performers. Over 450 live bands and solo acts will perform across the three family orientated festivals.
The inaugural festival was staged way back in 1998 on the beautiful Peterborough Embankment, where it’s held to this day, but in addition we have expanded to become three festivals.
TWF Northants will be unveiled at Billing Aquadrome on 10th – 12th June. TWF Cambs will be held at its traditional home on Peterborough, Embankment on 8th-10th July and TWF Dorset will be staged at Canford Park Arena on 16th-18th September, just on the border between the two towns of Poole and Bournemouth.
Also new for 2016 will be our close association with the Britrox organisation and all the TV coverage for The Willow Festival that will bring nationally and internationally. For the first time TWF will be extensively televised on several TV channels and platforms. Hereward TV will also be in attendance at TWF Cambs to provide local coverage.
The Willow Festival remains a “Not For Profit” organisation and exists entirely to assist live music grow as an art form and to be the foremost thought regarding the public’s choice of live entertainment.
TWF is run by unpaid volunteer staff with a passion for LIVE music and festival events. Because we are not profit driven we can offer entry to our events at a vastly reduced general admission ticket price. For just £10.00 + booking fee per event, you can come and go as much as you like for all three days. 14 years and under go free when accompanied by an adult (please see full entry details).
In addition, camping caravanning and RV deals are available at TWF Northants.
So we’re looking forward to a great summer of TWF events and we hope you’ll join us and experience for yourselves some of the brilliant under the radar live music yet to be discovered.
